Shorter Construction Time
From the date of order to delivery on site, we can bring a home to your site in 6-8 weeks. Once the house is on site, it can be set up in a matter of days, and the utility hookups, carpet and roof ridges installed. If the site improvements are ready when the house arrives, it will take approx. 10-12 weeks from initial order to final permit. (Garages and outbuildings are not included in this estimate.)

Fewer County Inspections
Once a factory has been HUD Code Certified, the HUD homes built there are exempt from most regular County inspections. This means that once the home is on the site, it is a matter of weeks, not months, before the house is ready for occupancy. Each home is inspected many times before it leaves the factory, and the factory itself is inspected on a regular basis.

Less Cost to Operate
Our factories are EnergyStar® Certified, which means the homes they build are less expensive to maintain and to operate. Trex decks, cement siding, termite treated lumber and steel and concrete foundations are easy to maintain. Increased insulation in floors, walls and ceilings means that you will spend less in heating and cooling costs. EnergyStar® appliances are the most efficient appliances on the market today, and will keep your electric costs at a minimum.

Better Foundation System
The Sure Safe ® EFS foundation system that is used by FABMAC Homes is a patented solution to factory-built HUD housing (FABMAC is the exclusive distributor for this system for the State of Hawai'i). This Sure Safe system is used in hurricane and earthquake zones, and is approved for the State of Hawai'i. The Sure Safe ® EFS foundation system has recently been selected as the exclusive foundation solution to secure manufactured home loans backed by the world's largest private mortgage insurance (PMI) for HUD code homes.
